Empoli lost 2-1 to Palermo on Sunday night and suffered a shocking relegation, and their fans did not take it well.
As Empoli’s team bus arrived at the training ground, the coaches and players were met with a bunch of furious fans who berated them.
The angry fans spewed things like “You’ll all pay for it”, and also accused Empoli of delibrately throwing the game away.
