Guerra determined to spur PKNS to FA Cup triumph

PKNS FC and the Malaysia Premier League top-scorer, Gabriel Guerra is determined to guide his club to glory as they’ll be facing Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) who are arguably the favorites in the FA Cup final this Saturday, in the Shah Alam stadium.

The Argentinian stated that he does not feel any pressure, instead, is feeling rather calm despite being the key player for his team.

“This would be my first time performing in a final but I do not feel nervous. I still attend training sessions as usual and I’m happy because I managed to bring PKNS FC to the finals of the FA Cup, for the first time,” he told Utusan Malaysia.

“I want to help my team lift the trophy for the first time and to make it a reality, I need to score goals during the final,” the goal-scoring machine proclaimed.

Despite leading the race to the Golden Boot trophy with 10 goals in the Malaysia Premier League, Guerra claims that he would not be at the summit of the race without the assistance from his teammates.

“It is true that I am the main goal scorer for my team. However, all this is a reality due to the teamwork with my teammates,” he expressed.

“I depend on them for me to score goals because I can’t do it myself,” he admitted.

Guerra has recorded a total of 5 goals in the FA Cup and cannot wait to penetrate JDT’s net during their meet this Saturday in the Shah Alam Stadium.
