British number one Heather Watson has been knocked outof the Dubai Tennis Championship after suffering a first round defeat to Ukranian qualifiers Kateryna Kozlova.
The 21 year-old, suffered a 6-4,7-5 straight sets defeat against Kozlova, who only took one hour and 37 minutes to complete the rout.
Watson was unfortunately broken four times by the world number 132, in the match; once in the opening set and three times in the second set.
The defeat also marks her second early exit of the season, after she suffered a first round defeat to Tvestana Pironkova in the first round of the Australian Open.
Kozlova will next face Ekaterina Makorva in the second round.
