If you happen to be free on the Merdeka weekend with relatively nothing to do, then you need to head over to Sunway Lagoon! Happening on the 29th of August is the pro-qualifier component of Asia Flow Tour – the region’s premier flowboarding competition.
Flowboarding is relatively big in other sub-continents, but it’s still a growing sport within Southeast Asia. But this year, the tides seems to be shifting, with Thailand set to host the World Flowboarding Championships in November.
Hence, the Asia Flow Tour has gone up a notch in terms of size and it’s capacity to excite, and Malaysia is just one of several other stops the tour will be making across Asia. Some ofthe other locations include, Seoul, Bangkok, Manila and even Singapore.
