Malaysian motorcycle racer Mohamad Zamri Baba, whom currently is hospitalized in Jakarta, is reportedly showing improvement in his health as he was recently involved in an accident in Round Two of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at Sentul International Circuit of Indonesia on June 6.
The 31 year-old , who rides for MuSASHi Boon Siew Honda Racing Team, was hit by a rider from the back after he had collided with the gravel bed during the race.
The Federation of International Motorcycling (FIM), MuSASHi Boon Siew Honda Racing Team had issued a statement saying that Zamri had been taken off the ventilator and was capable of breathing on his own.
Meanwhile, Indonesian rider M. Fadly Immammuddin, who rides of Astra Honda Racing, whom collided with Thailand’s Jakkrit Sawangswat of AP Honda Thailand after the chequered flag during the SuperSports 600cc Race 2, was said to have underwent a third surgery on his leg and had been transferred from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a normal room.
