National bowling ace Sin Li Jane became the only Malaysian to make it to the podium after securing a silver medal at the 2015 mixed-field Brunswick Euro Challenge in Munich, Germany.
The Ipoh-born bowler managed to make it to the step-ladder finals after edging Jesper Svensson of Sweden with a 217-214 victory in the semis.
However, in the finals, USA’s Josh Blanchard did not give in to Li Jane when she downed the 22 year-old 248-203, to claim the title at the Dream Bowl Palace.
The victory allowed Li Jane to bag €9000 while USA’s Scensson took home the title as well as €12000.
Li Jane kicked start her 2015 season on a positive note after securing 5 medals at the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship in Bangkok last January. She also bagged a bronze medal at the National Bowling Championship last week.
