Nicky Hayden is confident of regaining his full capabilities, after a problem-free race in Japan.
The American says the race was a big test for his wrist, having undergone two operations on it back in July. He had to miss four rounds of the MotoGP Championship, before returning to the track at Aragon in September.
Motegi marked a tentative return for Hayden, but one that was proved successful as he managed to finish in ninth place despite trying wet conditions.
Hayden adds, he’s more than certain his wrist can now hold up through any challenge, including his two upcoming races in just two weeks.
