Three-time world champion Hamilton was recently under scrutiny when he was caught playing with his phone during a press conference. Hamilton was sitting right in front, with two other world champions Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen by his side.
While reporters were pelting them with questions and clicking away, Hamilton seemed engrossed in his phone, using Snapchat’s ‘bunny’ filter, putting ears on himself and driver Carlos Sainz.
However, fans seem to have no problem with him ‘snapchatting’ during the conference, saying he made it more personal and connected the fans with F1 better than anyone did.
Lewis Hamilton also feels like someone is just out to get him this year.
The 31 year-old British racer is furious that his engine kept failing, while his teammates’ Mercedes seem to be working just fine.
“Someone needs to give me some answers because this is not acceptable. We are fighting for the championship and only my engines are failing. Something just doesn’t feel right but there’s nothing I can do about it,” Hamilton said.
Had he won the race, Hamilton would have claimed his seventh win of the season. Nico Rosberg currently takes the lead, in light of his recent victory at Suzuka, Japan.
