VIDEO: Icelandic commentator goes mental celebrating last minute winner vs Austria

It is history in the making as Iceland beat Austria 2-1 to book a spot in the knockout-stages at Euro 2016, which is also their first ever appearance in a major international tournament.

They weren’t given much of a chance being in the same group as Portugal, Hungary and dark horse Austria, but they defied all odds by staying unbeaten and finished second in the group.

The people of Iceland will be celebrating into the night and an Icelandic commentator went absolutely bonkers after Arnor Traustason’s historic 94th minute winner.

With a population of approximately 300,000 people, the not-so-small Iceland will take on England in the last 16.
