“No room for complacency against Sabah” – Kedah’s Tan Cheng Hoe

Kedah players have been reminded not to waste their chances when they travel to Likas to face Sabah in the quarter-final of the Superbest Power FA Cup later tonight.

The Red Hawks head coach Tan Cheng Hoe said that the attackers need to work hard and be sharp in order to get an away goal to be in a better position next month in Alor Setar.

“Not only does the attacking unit have to on form, but the defensive line must prevent Vejeran Simunic’s men from scoring an early goal at the Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu.

“We are playing for a win and we know that Sabah have not been on the best of forms. However, I told my players to not take them lightly,” he said as quoted by Sinar Harian.

Tan Cheng Hoe is confident that his players will get him the result that Kedah needs.

“We will play the match without Sandro, but I have others to replace him,” Cheng Hoe added.

Kedah advanced to the quarter-final after beating Kelantan 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out.
