Selangor coach Zainal Abidin is concerned that his players will suffer from injuries as they face four different opponents in 7 days.
The Red Giants start off their week tonight by facing Premier League side Kuala Lumpur at the MPS Stadium, followed by Penang FA on Friday before flying off to Bangkok on Sunday to face two more opponents.
“I cannot stop injures from happening as team preparations (friendly matches) are vital to establish an understanding in the team,” he said according to Harian Metro.
“Players must be ready to achieve harmony and understand my tactical decisions for the upcoming friendlies,” he added.
These friendlies act as a final preparation before facing Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) in the Charity Shield match on the 13th of February.
