VIDEO: James Harden kicks LeBron James in the groin, earns one-match ban

Houston Rockets’ shooting guard James Harden has been suspended by NBA for one game after he kicked Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James in groin last weekend

During the third quarter, with 2:08 minutes left on the clock, Harden appeared to kick James’ private parts. Harden was initially cautioned with a Flagrant One foul, giving the Cavs two free throws and the ball but nevertheless, Harden was allowed to stay in the game.

After the game though, NBA opted to call for a Flagrant 2 foul, which effectively prevents him from playing against Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.

However, Harden claims that his foul was purely unintentional and that he was never expecting the one-match suspension. This would also mean that he would be missing a game for the first time throughout the 2014-2015 season.
