ATM defender K. Reuben is extremely frustrated to have picked up another injury, which is set to rule him out for another three months, despite only recently getting back to match action.
Reuben went through a turbulent 2014, spending almost a year on the sidelines to recover from a horrific ACL injury that he picked up in February last year. But with plenty of effort and determination, he bounced back impeccably to feature against Kelantan in the season opener three weeks ago.
However, the 24 year-old picked up an injury against Felda United last week and after undergoing comprehensive tests, it has now been revealed that the injury is set to rule him out for three months.
“I just feel really disappointed and sad because I just recovered recently and played three games. Now, I’m injured again and it really is the worst feeling in the world,” he told FourthOfficial.com
With ATM struggling in the league, Reuben though is not willing to give up. He is determined to battle through the recovery process and return to the squad soon to be able to help the team improve its fortunes.
“I’m just hoping for the best, as far as ATM is concerned. And I can’t wait to come back and help the team win. It really doesn’t matter how many times you fall down, it’s whether you want to stand up or not.
“I really do want to stand up and fight.”
