Marc Marquez dominates day two of Sepang test

World champion Marc Marquez dominated the lap timings on day two of the MotoGP pre-season test at the Malaysian Sepang circuit.

The 22 year-old, who became the youngest rider to clinch the world title in 2013, was the fastest individual on the track; clocking in 1 minute and 59.844 seconds on his 22nd lap for Honda.

The Spaniard managed to dominate the test ahead of Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo and Ducati’s Andrea Iannone, who were second and third respectively, on the charts.

However, there was a minor blip as Marquez fell at Turn 4 in the final hour though the Spaniard emerged from the incident uninjured.

Meanwhile, Ducati’s Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso, who came in 3rd and 4th respectively, put their newly launched GP15 bikes through its paces.
