It’s funny how thorough check-ups are conducted on players to ensure they have no dangerous items on them, before they are allowed onto the pitch, but during a friendly match in Ukraine, a football player was even carrying his mobile phone with him on the field!
FC Olimpik Donetsk took on FC Enerhiya Nova Kakhovka earlier this week, and they secured a close 2-1 victory in it as well. Fair enough, a decent football game with a decent score line. But obviously, that was never the highlight of the game.
Oleh Makarov, a defender from FC Olimpik Donestk, appeared to be jogging around the field during the game, when he suddenly pulled out a mobile phone from the pockets of his shorts, before answering a call in the middle of the game!
Best part? Nobody paid attention to it, including the referee!
