Men’s singles shuttler Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin claims that he is not under significant pressure at the ongoing National Grand Prix finals.
The 24 year-old is determined to clinch the tournament, having secured the Perak Open title last August.
“I have been a national player for quite some time, so I hope to win the tournament to complete my trophy collection,” said Iskandar as quoted from Harian Metro.
Iskandar also admits that he is used to the pressure given to him and vows to perform his best and focus in every single match, especially when facing his close competitor, R Sathieshtharan from Group A.
“The pressure is there but I’m already 24 so for me, it’s not a problem anymore,” he told Sinar Harian.
“I was the main selection to win the championship, so I hope I can do so and bring a great end to 2015.”
