Manny Pacquiao may be the people’s champion but on Saturday night, it was all about Floyd Mayweather. The American boxer maintained his unbeaten record by defeating Pacquiao over 12 round in what was a relatively decent fight.
But it must be said that for all the hype this particular fight had, the on-ring action was probably underwhelming. While Manny was aggresive in his approach; pushing Mayweather to his limits and testing him with a flurry of punches, Floyd was very strategic and adopted a conservative approach to the bout.
That eventually earned him the victory and years down the line, he will be remembered as the man who defeated Paquiao. However, that did not stop people from expressing their rage on Twitter.
