Malaysian athletes have taken to social media in a bid to share their support for the passengers and families of those on board the AirAsia QZ8501 flight.
Earlier today, an AirAsia Indonesia airline, flying from Surabaya to Singapore with 155 people on board, went missing.
The flight lost contact with the air traffic controller an hour after it left Surabaya’s Juanda International airport; which was approximately about 5.20am and no signal has been received since then.
The Indonesia’s transport ministry announced that there are 155 people on board are made up of 149 Indonesians, a British national, a Malaysian, a Singaporean and three Koreans. One of the Koreans was reportedly an infant as well.
Since then, AirAsia and the families of those who were on board the flight have received massive support from around the globe, including Malaysian athletes.
Let us all pray for the passengers and crew of AirAsia flight QZ8501.
