Mexican forward Javier Hernandez will not be prematurely ending his loan spell with Real Madrid, though he has struggled to break into Los Blancos’ first team set-up.
Rumours have been suggesting that Chicharito is frustrated with the lack of action in Madrid, and that he was open to a move elsewhere in search of regular football. But as far as his agent is concerned, there’s no truth in those rumours.
“Sometimes the media speculate too much and assume situations,” the agent is quoted as saying by AS. “He will not leave the club [in January].
“He is eager to play more minutes but he knows that hard work will open up more opportunities. He has his future ahead of him.
“Real Madrid are a team full of impressive players and obviously to earn a spot is difficult, but Javier has a great quality in working hard, like he has since the first day, and this is his quality.”
Chicha is currently on loan from Manchester United, with Madrid also having the option of signing him on a permanent deal at the end of his loan spell. But if they decide against utilizing that option, his agent claims that the ball will then be in United’s court.
“If Madrid do not exercise the option to buy it will not be until the end of the season,” the agent added. “In any case, we have to consult with the board of Manchester United to know what the future holds for Chicharito.”
