Thailand head coach Kiatisuk Senamuang appears to be in buoyant mood ahead of his side’s Suzuki Cup final clash against Malaysia, with the first leg set to take place today.
Malaysia were largely dominant when they met during the group stages, though Thailand eventually secured victory after a late onslaught. This time around though, Senamuang feels that his men will be better prepared to take Dollah’s troops on.
“We’ve improved a lot since the group stages, especially in midfield and defence.” Senamuang said.
“There’s only two more games left in the battle to become champions and we will be doing our level best to ensure that we defeat Malaysia and triumph in the tournament.”
First leg of the semis will take place at the Rajamangala Stadium today, with the second leg scheduled to kick off at the Bukit Jalil Stadium this Saturday.
