Pahang to take on Johor DT in FA Cup opener

Round Two of the Malaysia FA Cup will see a repeat of the Malaysia Cup final clash between Pahang and Johor DT after both sides were drawn against each other earlier today.

Both teams were arguably the two best sides in Malaysian football throughout 2014, and will be locking horns against one another in Round Two, which means that one of them will exit the competition prematurely next year.

Besides that, East Coast side Kelantan FA have been drawn against Sarawak FA in what appears to be another crunching tie. The Red Warriors have significantly strengthened their squad during the off-season, while the Crocs themselves have refurbished their attacking line-up. Robert Alberts and George Boateng are both known as proponents of attacking football, which makes this tie all the more attractive.

Irfan Bakti will guide Felda United against his former team Selangor FA, while T-Team are set to take on ATM in yet another interesting clash. Perak on the other hand, were handed a relatively easy tie against FAM league side, Shahzan Muda FC.

Round One will only feature Harimau Muda C vs Kuala Lumpur as well as DRB Hicom vs PKNS FC.

Full Draw as in the picture below.
