Exclusive: Liam Miller remains open to Malaysian move

Former Manchester United midfielder, Liam Miller is extremely interested at the prospect of plying his trade in Malaysia, and is apparently on the look out for potential opportunities within the country.

The 33 year-old midfielder agreed to mutually terminate his contract with Brisbane Roars recently, and has now signed a short-term deal with Melbourne City in the A-League. However, Liam is still eyeing possibler offers from South East Asia, particularly Malaysia.

According to Scott Ollerenshaw (who is closely tied to Liam), the Irishman was impressed by passion for football within the country and sees Malaysia as a viable location for him to enjoy the game. Scott also mentioned that teams interested in acquiring Liam’s services, can contact him directly to discuss and negotiate a deal.

This comes after we exclusively revealed Liam Miller’s recent visit to Malaysia, with Borneo side Sabah FA showing a keen interest in former Celtic man.
