A 10-man panel has been set up to investigate the Japan Grand Prix Formula One crash, that left Jules Bianchi fighting for his life.
The FIA says the high-level panel, which also includes former world champion Emerson Fittipaldi and former F1 team chief Ross Brawn, will also aim to propose new safety measures after carrying out a full review of the accident.
The group is expected to begin meeting this week, and present its full findings at the next meeting of the World Motor Sport Council on December 3rd in Doha, Qatar.
The 25 year old suffered life threatening brain injuries and is still in critical but stable condition, after smashing his Marussia car into a recovery vehicle on the Suzuka track earlier this month.
