Laker’s Clarkson out for a week with a strained calf muscle

Los Angeles Lakers will be without Jordan Clarkson for at least a week, after the guard strained his left calf muscle.

Clarkson picked up the injury during the second quarter of the Laker’s preseason game against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night (October 9th). The game saw the Warriors beat the Lakers 120-105.

The Lakers drafted the 22 year old last June, and he has since played two seasons at Tulsa before finishing his college career with one season at Missouri.

Clarkson is hoping to catch on as a point guard with the Lakers behind Steve Nash and Jeremy Lin.
