“It will not be easy” – Sathia wary of Perak’s momentum

ATM head coach B. Sathianathan believes that their Super League clash against Perak will be anything but easy when they face each other at the Paroi Stadium on Saturday.

Datuk M. Karathu’s men will be coming into this match on the back of an impressive victory over Sime Darby last weekend, Sathianathan claims that their momentum will be enough to give them plenty of confidence, making it a tough affair for the Gladiators.

“It’s not going to be easy to take on Perak,” he told Harian Metro.

“But I need my players to prove their worth. I’ll be outlining a strategy to dismantle the impressive Perak team, who will definitely be buoyed by their win last weekend.

“I want my players to win because if we don’t, it puts more pressure on us after the opening day defeat. Our players need to learn from their mistakes against Kelantan and put on their best how.

“They certainly can’t afford to repeat those mistakes. It’s vital we get a win tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Perak’s Datuk M. Karathu has urged his men to continue their momentum by securing another set of three points tomorrow, claiming that they need to be wary of ATM considering that they would be gunning to bounce back following their opening day defeat.
