Boxing icon Muhammad Ali has been readmitted to the hospital for a follow-up treatment on his severe urinary tract infection.
The legendary boxing icon was initially admitted to the hospital on suspicions of pneumonia, though it was later confirmed that he was suffering from a severe urinary tract infection.
But after going through, extensive treatment, he was then discharged, though it now seems that he has been readmitted for further check-ups on his condition. That being said, he expected to be discharged from the hospital in the next 24 hours.
According to Ali’s family spokesman, Bob Gunnel, the boxing legend is hoping to recover soon and also plans to celebrate his 73rd birthday at home with his family on Saturday.
