Formula E Chief Executive Alejandro Agag is still hopeful of seeing Sebastian Vettel participate in the Formula E one day, despite being snubbed by the four-time World Championship himself recently.
The 27 year-old was asked to join the brand new race series but he ultimately turned the offer down, describing the series as ‘cheese’. That being said, Alejandro Agag is hoping to see a deal materialize in future.
“We’re big admirers of Vettel,” Alejandro Agag told Reuters.
“He just doesn’t like Formula E. Maybe one day we can convince him to come to Formula E.”
The battery-powered race cars in Formula E look very similar to those in Formula One, and even more so considering that the likes of McLaren and Williams are major suppliers of electronics and batteries for the Formula E series.
