Chelsea are set to complete the capture of talented Croatian forward Andrej Kramaric from Rijeka, where he has impressed thoroughly throughout the first half of the season.
The 23 year-old has netted 21 goals in 19 appearances so far, and that statistic certainly caught the eye of Jose Mourinho, who has been keeping tabs on him for quite some time now.
Chelsea reportedly sent a delegation down to Croatia over the weekend, in an attempt to boost negotiations with him and his father, with Rijeka reportedly coming to an agreement with Chelsea over the transfer fee.
The Blues will reportedly sign him in an 8 million pounds deal, though there is no information yet as to whether he’d be loaned back to Rijeka for the remainder of the season.
The talented Croatian was previously the subject of interest from Leicester City, while several European giants in the form of AC Milan and Juventus were also closely monitoring his prospects.
