Positive news for Johor DT fans! Bojan Hodak feels that current trialist Ben King has done enough to convince him that he is good enough to ply his trade within the Malaysian football scene.
Ben, who is half Malaysian, was offered a two-weeks trial, after making contact with the Southern Tigers recently. He was integrated into the first team set-up, training alongside all the players over the past one week; catching the eye of Bojan himself.
“Ben King is on trial because his parents are Malaysians. He is only 21 and has been extremely interesting to watch during training session,” Bojan told FourthOfficial.com exclusively.
“I’m pretty sure he’s good enough to be a local football player. But now we need to see if he’s good enough for Johor DT 1,” he added.
Rumours suggests that players within the Johor DT set-up have also been impressed with his general level of fitness, though it remains to be seen whether FAM will allow him to be registered as a local player.
He started his career with the youth set-up in Sutton United, before making the move over to Tonbridge Angels earlier this summer.
