Kedah’s defender and captain, Khairul Helmi Johari is the undisputed king of social media.
If you’re local football fan, you’re no stranger to his whimsical postings on Instagram and Twitter, that often leaves us wondering where he draws his inspiration for all the edited photos.
Recently, the 29-year-old, also fondly known as “Keon” among his fans and teammates, posted a photo of Syafiq Ahmad pouting on Instagram, with a nonchalant caption to go with the photo.
The photo has since garnered 5298 likes and 32 comments from his followers. However, there was one comment that stood out from the rest.
Kedah’s star midfielder and Keon’s teammate, Liridon Krasniqi, also decided to comment on the photo.
Liridon Kraniqi, who is also well-known among fans for his goal-scoring prowess and quirky dance celebrations, took a jab at the photo of Syafiq Ahmad, commenting “ugly face”.
It’s nice to see some banter exchange between footballers — in this case it shows that even if you’re a famous football player, your friend will troll you on your Instagram photo!
Kedah will be facing Melaka tomorrow night (11 July) in a Super League fixture at the Stadium Hang Jebat. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 am, RM15 (Open)
