Malaysia’s high jump hero has done it again!
Nauraj Singh Randhawa got just the confidence boost he needed ahead of the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games as he sets a new national record for high jump at the Singapore Open.
This was confirmed by Team ISN on Twitter, congratulating the young lad for his stunning feat.
Nauraj Singh, 25, is a consistent national gold medalist – he picked up gold at the SEA Games in 2013 and 2015.
In 2016, he recorded his personal best at 2.29 m in Singapore. Today, he has taken it up a notch to set the new record at 2.30 m, also in Singapore.

Earlier this year, Nauraj Singh won the men’s high jump event at the Summer of Aths Championships in Canberra, Australia. Nauraj Singh emerged overall champion after clearing 2.25 metres in the event.

The 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games will be happening from the 19th of August until 31st of August.
