With less than 5 months to go for the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games, our Youth and Sports Minister YB Khairy Jamaluddin has been kept preoccupied with all the necessary preparations needed for the event.
Recently, the coolest sports minister we’ve probably ever had has been touring around 33 schools all over the country for the KL2017 @Sekolah initiative, bringing the Rimau (tiger mascot) along with him. The programme brings the @KL2017 feel to school sports days and to raise awareness on the importance of sports.
Speaking to the press after the event, YB Khairy proudly assured everyone that all the preparations for the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games are smooth and on schedule, including the major national Velodrome in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
“All the projects and works for the 2017 SEA Games are going smooth, nothing is behind schedule.” BH quoted the minister as saying. The minister spoke at the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 8 (1) this morning after the launch.
The 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games will be happening from 19th August to 31st August 2017.
