Real Madrid clinic to train young footballers in Malaysia

Great news for all budding football players in Malaysia, Real Madrid will be launching their very own football clinic here in Malaysia.

The Real Madrid football clinic was launched under the Real Madrid Foundation, in collaboration with Epsom College Malaysia.

The first of its kind, the football clinic will be held at the Epsom College, Bandar Enstek, between 23rd of July and 5th of August.

Through the clinic, young footballers will get a once-in-a-lifeitme opportunity to train under world-class coaches and experience Real Madrid-style training. Apart from that, the clinic also aims to instil vital values like leadership, teamwork, respect and humility in their participants.

Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, who is also Board of Governors chairman at the Epsom College Malaysia said that the Real Madrid football clinic will help to elevate the standard of football in Malaysia, since it will focus on the development of youth football.

“This clinic will enable youths to have better focus and empowerment on football and can give ideas to local coaches on developing the game further,” Fernandes said at a press conference.

Although a first in Malaysia, the Real Madrid football clinic has taken flight in many other countries, like Australia, Hong Kong, Namibia, and the Philippines, and given many young footballers a chance to experience world class football training.

The clinic is open to all aged between 11 and 17, and will train under select Real Madrid coaches. The clinic has coach 35,000 football players in over 40 countries in 2016. Spread the word!
