KAFA appoints Tan Sri Annuar as club advisor with immediate effect

Aaaaaand the drama continues!

A president-deprived Kelantan FA (KAFA) has decided to appoint its former president Tan Sri Annuar Musa as the club adviser with immediate effect.

According to KAFA’s Secretary Datuk Ismail Md Noor, the decision was made after an EXCO meeting that was held last month.

Tan Sri Annuar Musa handed in his resignation as KAFA president last year in November. Since then, the club has been in a financial fiasco, apart from going back and forth about withdrawing from the Malaysia League (Liga M).

“The absence of a competent and willing candidate left the president post vacant. FAM vice president Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah had to step in as interim president. At the rate that this is going, we can only elect a new president at the congress election come 2018.” Datuk Ismail told Berita Harian.

KAFA went with Tan Sri Annuar as they are familiar with his track record, he led them to success and fame while he was serving as president.

“KAFA still needs him. We need his experience and wisdom and know-how in football. But at the same time, we respect his decision if he doesn’t want to return as president.” Datuk Ismail added.
