Toro Rosso have announced their driver line up for the 2015 season of Formula One, and it includes Carlo Sainz Jr, the bright star of the World Series by Renault.
Carlo will partner Max Verstappen in the brand new line-up, after impressing during Red Bull’s final series of tests in Abu Dhabi last week.
The Spaniard made a name for himself in the World Series by Renault earlier this year, where he clinched the championship after an impressive season which caught the eye of many.
With Sebastian Vettel leaving for Ferrari, Danii Kvyat was promoted from Toro Rosso to Red Bull, leaving space for Max Verstappen to be roped into the team. But beyond that, Jean-Eric Vergne also departed the Italian team recently, which prompted the management to acquire the services of Carlo Sainz Jr.
The son of double world rally champion Carlos Sainz, Sainz Junior launched his career via with Formula BMW series, before eventually moving into Formula Renault 2.0 and GP3.
