Meanwhile Malaysia’s Zulfadli Zulkiffli overcame local player, Wan Chia-hsin to move into the third round of the tournament.
Zulfadli defeat the Taiwanese 21-11, 5-21, 21-12.
However, 2 other men’s shuttlers Soo Teck Zhi and Mohd Arif Abdul Latif’s campaign ended early.
