North Penn High’s first female football player produces INSANE hit!

Kelly Mcnamara is the first female player in the history of North Penn Knights football team in Pennsylvania, which also makes her one of the very few female players in a male dominated sport.

Yesterday, McNamara dominated the news for her kicking prowess; she destroyed an opposing kick returner who tried to run it back, and her entire team went wild. That’s not all, at the age of 16, she is also currently ranked fourth in the state in kicking, and it’s only her first season playing football.

Mcnamara posted the video on Twitter, which has since garnered over 1,500 retweets. Watch her in action here:

She didn’t only destroy the returner with that kick, she also destroyed gender stereotypes and prejudices against women in football!
