Johor Bahru is absolutely rocking, isn’t it?!
Fresh after thumping T-Team 5-1 at the Tan Sri Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium earlier tonight, JDT celebrated their third Malaysia Super League title in unbelievable fashion, as players, staff members as well as Tunku Ismail himself joined thousands of ecstatic JDT fans in honouring the club’s historic feat.
This marks a significant milestone in JDT’s football revolution since its inception in 2013 as they are the first Malaysian side to win three consecutive MSL titles – and Tunku Ismail himself knows the value of this achievement. “Winning the Malaysian Super League three times in a row is the most special achievement to me amongst everything else achieved by the team since I took over JDT in 2013. It’s something we were plotting since 2015,” he told fans in a dialogue session yesterday.
Naturally, unreal scenes were expected to emerge out of Larkin tonight, and we were certainly not left disappointed! Fireworks were on display at Larkin, while JDT’s brand new Hummer limousine – an exclusive gift from Tunku Ismail – made its maiden public appearance earlier tonight!
