WHAT A NIGHT!
Malaysian Paralympic sprinter Ridzuan Puzi made history by winning the country’s first ever gold medal at the Rio Paralympic Games last night!
Widely known as Mr. Dash, Ridzuan produced a scintillating run to shatter the Paralympic Games record, en route to winning a historic gold medal for Malaysia.
He was a major favourite prior to the run, though stiff competition from China’s Yang Yifei and Brazil’s Parreira da Silva made it tricky in the first 20 meters. But Ridzuan eventually powered through and prevailed by clocking an incredible time of 12.07 seconds!
Watch the video of his outstanding run, below!
