Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs were given a glimpse into a football revolution that’s taking place in Malaysia, after both men dropped by Johor Bahru for a quick visit, yesterday.
Neville and Giggs flew into Singapore earlier this week as part of a business trip to engage with Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, who has agreed to invest in their ‘Manchester-based hotel’ project. However, they managed to find time to travel across the causeway, and were received by Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim as well as JDT’s Sports Director, Alistair Edwards.
The former United stars were given an exclusive tour of JDT’s brand new indoor training centre at Padang Seri Gelam, as well as the outdoor training pitch and the club’s gymnasium. After the tour, both men were pictured having a discussion with TMJ at the Bukit Pelangi Palace. According to the Johor Southern Tigers’ Facebook page, the discussion revolved around Johor DT’s football vision as well as a plethora of other football issues. Check out the images below!
