Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) have just appointed a new president of their football club.
Tunku Aminah binti Sultan Ibrahim, the sister of club owner, Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim, has just been announced as The Southern Tigers’ new president of the club.
She was born on April 8, 1986, and is the only daughter of Sultan Ibrahim Ismail. She went to school at Sri Utama School before pursuing her A-Levels at La Salle College in Singapore.
The 30 year-old Australian International School graduate will be the second-only female president at a football club, after Siti Zubaidah Abdul Jabar took charge of Selangor PKNS FC.
This move shows a true belief in gender equality and female empowerment from the parties.
