Kelantan’s newest foreign signing Morgaro Gomis is confident of being able to hit to form, despite being new to the Malaysia Super League.
The defensive midfielder’s tenure with the East Coast side got off to a positive start last week, but Gomis maintains that fans would be able to see him improve, as long as he is afforded the time and space to do so.
“The understanding and compatibility will come progressively. I believe it’s only a matter of time, but I’m also working hard to understand Kelantan’s pattern of play.
“In all honesty, I’m happy to be here. They have many local and good imported players so I hope I can improve my game from match to match,” he told Sinar Harian.
The French-born player received praise from fans after helping his side to a 6-1 thrashing of traditional rivals Terengganu and the man himself is looking forward to better performances with the team in their upcoming games.
“We played well like how the coach wanted us to play. It was a good win and I hope we can maintain such a form for the upcoming fixtures,” said Gomis.
