Diouf has been without a club since he was released by Leeds United in May, though he has been negotiating with several sides on potential moves. However, Sabah FA recently made their intentions clear, and Diouf was more than tempted by the prospect of plying his trade in Asia.
Negotiations were then held between representatives of both parties, and Diouf has now flown in to finalize discussions regarding personal terms, before officially confirming the move.
