The line-makers have been indiscriminate in running scared of under 2.5 goal backers in the Round of 16. Across the board all eight games see less than 3 goals a short priced favorite but if one game represents a value play against the trend it is this battle in Lens.
On the strength of the pair’s last two group games it is difficult to see this one being the 5th goal-less draw of the tournament. Ronaldo now has the bit between his teeth and will be eyeing top scorer honors and as the Croatians showed against Spain, they can be lethal on the counter.
