It makes you wonder on some days, will EA Sports ever get their FIFA plans messed up?
They seem to hit bull’s eye every single year and the excitement is built via a systematic release of multiple trailers prior to the official release of the game. And these trailers are usually nothing short of stupendous as well.
Over the last 24 hours, FIFA fans from all over the globe have been marvelling at EA Sports brand new trailer for FIFA 17 – one that seems to have ditched Lionel Messi as its poster boy, but rather opting to have Marco Reus, Anthony Martial, Eden Hazard and James Rodriguez as collective faces of the game.
But the more impressive bit about the trailer is that it features Jose Mourinho as the narrator! If you’re a United fan, you’ve probably spent the last two weeks rampaging through every Mourinho-related video on YouTube. Hence, this one should equally excite you!
The trailer is brief and EA Sports have promised to unveil more details in their second trailer but as of now, the one difference we can confirm is Frostbite. EA Sports will be using the Frostbite engine to power FIFA 17 for the first time, having previously used Ignite.
Right now, we don’t quite know how this change would influence and impact the gameplay. But as executive producer David Rutter said, it will change the game for every fan out there.
“Frostbite delivers authentic, true-to-life action, takes players to new football worlds, and introduces fans to characters full of depth and emotion.”
“Frostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for the FIFA franchise and its fans. We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver in FIFA 17,” he said.
