Manchester United’s final Premier League clash against Bournemouth has been called off, due to security fears at Old Trafford.
Kick-off was scheduled at 15.00 BST, though two stands (Sir Alex Ferguson Stand and the Stretford End) were evacuated before the game. Sniffer dogs were then brought in, before they officially announced that there would be a delay in the game.
But just as the players were warming up, security personnels declared the match to be a ‘no go’, forcing the players and fans to leave the grounds immediately.
As of now, we’ve not received official confirmation though reliable journalists on Twitter have suggested that an ‘explosive device’ has been spotted inside Old Trafford
Told by reliable sources that bomb squad in attendance at OT. Relates to mobile phone device. Might have to carry out controlled explosion.

According to Talksport’s Stan Collymore, an explosive device (a phone) has been discovered and that it’s connected to wires and pipes in a toilet inside the stadium. He went on to say that military officers are on their way to the ground.
