The national under-15 football team showcased their abilities on an international level when they came in second place in the 2016 Dream Come True tournament in Beihai, China.
Harimau Malaysia U-15, who is under the guidance of Dato’ Richard Scully, was unfortunate enough to lose out on penalties (15-14) after the match with South Korea ended 2-2.
Malaysia qualified for the final after topping Group A with a maximum 15 points (5 games).
They beat Guangzhou Zhi Li 19-1 in the opening Dream Come True match, followed by a 3-0 victory of Fo Shan City, and then 13-0 and 14-0 wins over Bei Hai Gui Bang B and Bei Hai Dijiao respectively, before thrashing the Russian under-15 squad 15-0 in the last game.
