Malaysian singer Yuna joined the likes of Lenny Kravitz to recently record the official 2016 Rio Olympics soundtrack – The Fire – alongside several other big names.
Produced by Questlove, the song features Brazil’s Diogo Nogueria, Britain’s Corrine Bailey Rae, Nigeria’s Nneka, Malaysia’s Yuna as well as four-times Grammy winner, Lenny Kravitz.
Yuna announced the news on her Facebook page, claiming that she’s ecstatic to be a part of such a big project and that it was fun to have worked with other big names to produce the soundtrack.
While the full soundtrack has not been released, bits and pieces of it will be featured in Rio 2016’s series of promotional videos, that will be released over the next few months.
