Hafizh Syahrin’s knowledge about the Jerez circuit evidently played a pivotal role in the Spanish Grand Prix as he secured an 11th spot finish, claiming a total of 5 points.
The PETRONAS Raceline Malaysia racer was only 35.980 seconds behind England’s Sam Lowes who emerged as the race champion.
This also means that Hafiz has now collected a total of 28 points, placing him 8th out of 30 individuals on the racers’ standings.
Sam Lowes leads the pack with a total of 72 points, followed by Alex Rins from Spain with a total of 62 points. France’s Johann Zarco is currently holding on to the 3rd place with a total of 56 points.
The next Grand Prix will be held in France, next month.
