Oklahoma City Thunder have been hit with another injury, this time involving Russell Westbrook. The team are already without Kevin Durant, who has been sidelined for up to 8 weeks after fracturing his foot.
According to Thunder coach Scott Brooks, the 25 year old is expected to be reevaluated later today, after leaving Thursday’s loss to the Clippers with a small fracture in his right hand.
Westbrook appeared to hit his hand on his team-mate Kendrick Perkin’s elbow, as they both went after a rebound in the second quarter.
The Thunder now face the possibility of playing an extended period without both Durant or Westbrook.
